An unusual antique late-Victorian engagement ring set with an old cut pear diamond and little silvery rose cut diamonds on the shoulders. The center diamond weighs approximately 0.75 carats and is particularly fiery and lustrous. It's approximately H color and VS2 clarity, but the stone's florescence makes it appear even whiter in natural light. The mounting is built in platinum topped yellow gold with hand carved detailing. Dates to c1890-1900.
Currently a size 5-3/4 and could be resized in the 4.5 to 7.5 range for $75.
