Vintage Love Token & Egypt Charms

A pair of vintage charms on a sterling silver chain. The gold charm is a love token that references a French romantic poem by Rosemonde Gerard containing the phrase "Et, comme chaque jour je t'aime davantage, Aujourd'hui plus qu'hier et bien moins que demain" meaning "'And because I love you more and more each day, today more than yesterday but less than tomorrow." The token has a plus sign above the words "than yesterday" and a minus sign above the words "than tomorrow." The token is 18K with diamonds and emeralds, and dates to the 1950-60s. The other token is a souvenir of Egypt and likely dates to the 1920-50s. On a new 16" sterling silver chain.
