An estate ring with an unusually cut shield-shaped orangey-red garnet set in 18K yellow gold. A maker's mark that resembles phases of the moon is punched inside the shank, along with a hand engraved "18K." Obviously made by a very good studio jeweler, but the maker wasn't identified. Weighs 4.0 grams.

Currently a size 7 and could be resized in the 6 to 9 range for $95.
