Part of our in-house EB Modern collection which incorporates unusual gemstones into modern mountings of our design and manufacture, this ring centers on a lime-colored 1.21 carat chrysoberyl lozenge. Set in a blackened 14K white gold bezel mounting with a textured surface.

Chrysoberyl is the third hardest gemstone on earth and was prized in the 19th century for it's brilliance and unusually deep yellow-green color.

Currently a size 5-1/2 and could be resized in the 4.5 to 6.5 range for $75.

Note that blackened gold changes with wear and eventually becomes less dark, though it's easily redone with a fresh plating in black-rhodium.
