An ancient Indo-Scythian coin mounted in a beautifully made Maltese cross pendant dating to c1960. The coin is silver and dates to 58 - 12 BC. The Indo-Scythians were nomadic Iranian peoples who migrated from Central Asia to Northwestern India. Their coinage featured both Greek divinities and Buddhist symbolism.
