A beautifully painted Georgian-era miniature of a classically styled woman holding a plaque that reads "Souvenir," the French word for remember. The painting is mounted under glass in a double-sided pendant. The other side has light blue silk and may have once contained a lock of hair. Particularly well painted and larger than average in size. Probably French and dating to c1790.
