A spectacular 1950s Victorian Revival pendant with radiating pearls in a sunburst formation. The pendant is in gold with pin fittings and a foldable bale so that it can double as a brooch. Beautifully made in 14K yellow gold. Jewelry designers in the 1950s frequently used Victorian jewelry as inspiration. This pendant is very similar to a type of brooch that was fashionable around 1890, but the construction and oversized pearls give it a sort of space-age quality, that was particular to the 1950s.
