An unusual vintage Mexican necklace with panels of curved black stone with reddish patches-- possibly jasper. Clearly inspired by European Art Deco jewelry of the 1930s, but distinctly Mexican in its construction and choice of materials. Beautifully made in 970 silver-- an alloy with slightly higher silver content than sterling silver.

Sterling Silver and Reddish-Black Stone (Possibly Jasper)
