1924 Gypsy Set 3 Diamond Ring

A spectacular and very unusual three diamond ring with a massive 1.52ct old mine cut diamond center and a pair of beautifully faceted European cut diamond sides. Gypsy set rings of this style were very popular around the turn of the century, though they usually contain diamonds a fraction of the size. The scale here is extremely unusual. An engraved inscription inside reads "H. Cape to V. Cape 1924" Comes in a period box with an independent appraisal and a certificate for the center diamond.
