A pair of exceptional and truly massive Chinese articulated fish, converted to earrings from pendants. They sway beautifully, with full articulation, and movement in the eyes even. The pendants are earlier than the articulated Chinese fish that became popular in the 1960s, and likely date to around 1920. We converted them to earrings with new 14K gold wires. They drop nearly 4 inches and weigh about 27 grams each, which is far heavier than most wearers will find comfortable.
