A particularly high quality Edwardian-era ring finely hand made in 14K gold with an impressive stone that at first glance appears to be turquoise. With closer inspection the stone is partially transparent-- indicating that it's not likely turquoise. It's most likely a variety of chrysoprase-- a gemstone in the quartz family-- but it's a very unusual specimen. In any case, it's a spectacular antique ring.
