A remarkably minimal and dainty Victorian bracelet with an opal embedded in a tubular gold form. In 14K yellow gold with a bloomed finish. Blooming was a popular technique in the Victorian era which left a matte polish, pure gold surface over alloyed metal. Dates to the 1890s.Note that the bracelet clasps securely but lacks a safety clasp, so it should be worn carefully.
