An unusual and impressive 19th century Egyptian Revival bracelet with scarabs surrounded by gold cobras. Handmade with remarkably intricate metal work and engraving. The scarabs are faience (a type of glazed ceramic) and likely ancient. There are marks on the tongue closure, but are rubbed and can't be deciphered. There's also a more recent 14K stamp on the opposite side of the tongue, but we tested the metal as slightly lower than 14K. Fits an average sized wrist.
