An antique c1880 Austro-Hungarian enamel pendant depicting Saint George slaying a dragon. Beautifully made in enameled silver with rose cut and table cut diamond embellishments. A baroque pearl hangs from the bottom. Austro-Hungarian jewelry of this style was inspired by a Renaissance-Revival design movement during the 1870-90s. The pendant is enameled on both the front and back sides and drops approximately 2-1/2 inches from the chain. It hangs on a 30 inch vintage 14K yellow gold chain.
