An exceptional Victorian era Grand Tour souvenir of Venice. Stylishly designed with patterned cobalt blue enamel over silver, and centering on an intricately inlaid glass micromosaic of a scarab beetle. The words "ricordo di venezia" (memories of Venice) surround the micromosaic. Well preserved, all original, and exceedingly rare to find.
