A remarkable c1890 Victorian-era stick pin depicting a mother bird guarding her nest from a snake winding his way up a tree branch. The nest and snake are decorated with black enamel and the nest eggs are pearls. Very rare and exceptionally well made. Built in 14K yellow gold
