Part of our in-house EB line that incorporates unusual antique gems into modern, minimal settings of our design. This ring has a beautiful violet-colored 1.90 carat spinel, that was likely cut in the mid 19th century. It's set in a simple four prong platinum and 18K yellow gold mounting of our design. Spinel is a rare gemstone that is often similar in appearance to sapphire and ruby. In fact, up until the 17th century, the stones were not given distinct names. Made in New York.
