A classic Edwardian solitaire engagement ring with a beautifully faceted old European cut diamond weighing 0.56 carats, set in a six prong mounting with engraved platinum sides, and a filigreed gallery of 14K yellow gold. The diamond comes with an EGL USA certificate stating F-G color and VS2 clarity, and strong blue florescence. The florescence is natural and causes the stone to appear whiter, and ever so slightly blue-tinged in natural light. An independent appraisal is also included.
