An antique c1890 Victorian era silver locket with niello Greek key designs on the front and back. Niello is a black mixture of copper, silver, and lead inlaid into engraved silver. It's a centuries old technique, but it was particularly popular in France, Germany, and Russia at the end of the 19th century.

On a new 16" silver chain oxidized to match.
