A pair of English "mad money" charms mounted as earrings, with one and ten pound notes in 9K gold cases. Emergency cash charms were popular in the U.K. in the 1950s and 60s, the idea being that the case could be broken open if need be. It's rare to find a matching pair, and they're lovely as earrings.
