A 1940-50s sapphire and diamond ring made by Birks-- a Canadian jeweler often compared to Tiffany, who made extremely high quality Art Deco and mid-century jewelry. The sapphire weighs approximately 1.30 carats and has an EGL USA certificate stating no heat enhancement. The diamonds weigh approximately 0.62 carats total. Set in a simple, well-made 18K white gold mounting. An independent appraisal is also included.
