A c1880 Victorian watch chain that's the perfect length for wearing as a necklace. The link is somewhat unusual, and like many 19th century chains, was made to give the appearance of heft without adding a great deal of gold weight. The chains have beautifully hand engraved end-caps, and the clasp has an clever mechanism for locking it closed, with a barrel that screws up around a hinged loop. In solid 14K gold.
