A classic antique diamond solitaire engagement ring with an old mine cut diamond weighing approximately 0.86 carats set in a simple two toned mounting constructed of platinum and 14K yellow gold. The diamond is white, silvery and full of fire but has internal flaws-- nevertheless they are difficult to see without magnification. Likely dates to the early 20th century and was inscribed with "F.H.H. to I.M.H. 1921."

Currently a size 6-1/4 and could be resized in the 5 to 7.5 range for $75.

Condition

Good. Diamond has several white feather inclusions, one of which runs along the outer surface of the diamond, and is visible to the naked eye at just the right angle. One small chip near the girdle. Original inscription.
