A c1920 Art Deco engagement ring with a 0.79 carat old European cut diamond set in a 6 pronged mounting with intricate detailing and filigree. Clean, simple and slender lines, and unusual to find in yellow gold. The stone has a GIA certificate stating K color and SI2 clarity. It faces up fairly white, especially against the yellow gold, but there is a white crystal inclusion that may be visible to the naked eye with very careful inspection. Currently a size 5-3/4 and could be resized in the 4.5 to 7.5 range for $75.
