Description:		A beautiful enamel and butterfly wing brooch by Thomas L Mott, the best known producer of pieces such as these. The imagery here is unusual though-- most butterfly wing pieces feature somewhat kitschy tropical scenes-- this one is distinctly tasteful and well composed. The waterfall scene is reverse painted on the glass dome, behind which the iridescent wing of a blue morpho butterfly radiates an eerie electric blue light. The pendant hangs from a sterling silver bow brooch fitting with a c-type clasp. Stamped "T.L.M. Sterling, England" for Thomas L Mott.
