Description:
A rare pair of Silesian wirework earrings made from a finely machined steel mesh set into an oval frame. Silesian wirework was made in the early 19th century, as part of a larger trend to wear steel jewelry as a sign of patriotism during the Prussian uprising against Napoleon.
