Description:		A very fine pair of Victorian tortoiseshell pique drop earrings dating to the 1870s. Pique is the extremely labor intensive art of inlaying tiny bits of gold in silver in tortoiseshell. These have a particularly nice geometric form and excellent translucency in the tortoiseshell.
