Late 1800s Rose Cut Diamond and Turquoise Cluster Ring, 18K
Materials: Turquoise, ~0.10ct European Cut Diamond, ~0.75ctw Rose Cut Diamonds, 18K Gold
Date: Late 1800s, Possibly partially constructed from an early 1800s button.
Size: US SIze 5 (can be resized up to a 7 1/2 for $50)
Face measures 17mm in diameter.
Condition: Good. Constructed in the Victorian era, likely from a Georgian era button. Old solder visible behind the head-- not visible when worn.
Description: A spectacular and very unusual turquoise and diamond cluster ring, centering on a little European cut diamond, surrounded by rows of turquoise and rose cut diamonds. Nicely constructed, probably utilizing a Georgian era button for the outer ring of diamonds-- the Victorians were very clever about re purposing old jewelry.
