A beautifully detailed c1930 Art Deco engagement ring with an excellent quality transitional cut diamond weighing 0.51 carats. Transitional cuts share some similarities with the old European cut, but into the 1930s, diamond cutters slowly began to incorporate a cutting style that later became know as the round brilliant cut. The mounting is built in platinum with geometric detailing an approximately 0.08 carats of single cut diamonds. Comes with an EGL USA certificate stating F-G color and VS1 clarity for the center diamond. An independent appraisal is also included.
